January 2025.
To our dear followers and customers, we are sorry to announce that The Lychgate Cutting Garden is CLOSING DOWN
From its small beginnings seven seasons ago, it has been the most exciting, rewarding, fulfilling, totally engaging and inspiring enterprise we could ever have hoped for. A huge learning curve for us in all areas.
As is normal for us at this time of year, we take the opportunity to re - appraise everything as far as our workload is concerned, as well as look to make improvements and appropriate changes. This Winter season has taken a different turn in this regard, and although our love for the garden is so great, we absolutely recognise we need to put our energies more towards our growing family at the moment and so the garden must close.
Our immense gratitude to dear Matthew Hubbard for making this all possible in the first place and for him having faith in us to create the Cutting Garden in whatever way we saw fit.
A sincere thank you to everyone who has supported the garden throughout, making the past seven years, the joy and success it has been.
We too will miss the flowers and you all hugely.
As dear Ray Hubbard (Hill House) once said, ‘As all good things go - it went!’
We must hold onto his wise words and perhaps these of Dr Seuss - ‘Don’t cry because its over, smile because it happened’.
And we’re so glad that it did!
We apologise to those of you with gift vouchers which remain in date for 2025 as this was unforeseen. Please contact Laura info.lychgate@gmail.com so that she can arrange a refund with you.
Very best wishes from us all at Lychgate Xx
